A. The "Hagoromo" Waterfall

This picturesque waterfall falls gently from a precipice into the Chubetsu River at the Tenninkyo-Onsen . The height of this unique fall is about 270 m. The "Hagoromo" Waterfall is located only 600 m from the Tenninkyo-Onsen. The best seasons for viewing fall colors are from the end of September to the beginning of October.

B. The "Shikishima" Waterfall
This huge and powerful waterfall can be found at the upper part of the Chubetsu River . It is 20 minutes from the " Hagoromo " Waterfall. Please watch your step by the riverside. The water temperature of the Chubetsu River is stable all year round, so it does not freeze even in a severe winter.
