A. The "Kumagera" Course
This is the first step to trekking amidst the nature of Asahidake. The " Kumagera " course is very short. It takes only 10 minutes one-way; however, you can see many kinds of flowers and trees around the trail. The best seasons to see alpine plants are May through July. There are colorful , tiny wildflowers on the ground. If you feel up to it, the "Komakusa" Course is also right there. You should try it! |

B. The "Miharashidai" Course
This course is longer (1,140m) than the " Kumagera " Course, and it is the most recommended trail in this area. At the middle of the trail, towards " Miharashidai ", there is a great view of Asahidake, Tokachidake and Kaundake. In addition, at the end of this trail you can find mysterious moss that stands out in the dark. |
